I’m moving toward completing a book proposal on the uneven nature of surgical expertise in the US. This will be a well-researched and even presentation regarding where the surgical experts are and where you may have difficulty getting the care you need. the whole field of surgical training is in transition and patients should know who is ready to enter practice and who needs extra training. I’ll be developing this theme in the near future.
